What’s on offer?
We are a 'teaching/educational' smallholding and are aware that many adults, as well as children, are interested in the countryside and farming.

We would like to encourage all organisations to visit the farm but request that they pre-book first.

Heather   We can offer 'hands-on' practical learning experiences for groups of children of all ages from Pre-school to Secondary and have a qualified teacher who can cover areas of the Foundation Stage (soon to be Early Years Foundation Stage) and Key Stages 1, 2 and 3 of the National Curriculum as requested by the school. FE College students are also very welcome to use the farm to carry out the practical side of courses, such as, Small Animal Care or Land Management.
Various activites can be arranged as part of the educational experience.

The farm has also been registered with Education Bradford as a suitable place to provide work experience placements to secondary school pupils in year 10 and 11 and also disaffected or reluctant learners who do not attend school or who would like to incorporate it in to their timetable.
