Pepper Pot Farm is a family business set up in Nov 2006 as an educational school farm.
The farm is part of a larger complex of traditional farms in the surrounding area
with Pepper Pot Farm having been specially selected because of its diverse types of countryside and farm land.
The area covers approximately 7½ acres with grazing fields, woodland (new and ancient) and heathland.
Pathways have been created to allow access to all areas with gateway and stile
access to fields and woods.
The location is approximately 2 miles west of Oakworth, near Keighley on the
very edge of the Pennies on the Yorkshire / Lancashire border, close to Slippery
Ford. There is good main road access from Oakworth via Slack Lane leading to
Whitehill Road.
At the centre of Pepper Pot farm is the Barn, specially built in January 2008 to
house animals and an education area with washing facilities and toilets. Outside
there is parking for 8-10 cars.
Unfortunately, the nearest bus route stops at Oakworth (2 miles away).
